So So Sorry
Journal Entry: Fri May 9, 2008, 6:47 AM
I'm soo sorry for my long absence. I've been so busy doing schoolwork that I haven't had time to upload anything, heck I'm writing this journal from class but I thought it should be done. I have tons and tons of photos that I'll hopefully upload soon but I'm going to be going out of order of when they were taken by starting with the most recent since a few people asked me to send them the photos and I want to do so within a timely manner.
I'll respond to as many messages as I can, as fast as I can so forgive me if it takes me a long time.
Hope you enjoy the updates. ^_^
OH and my hard work paid off because I was accepted on the spot to the College For Creative Studies, which is a fucking good and very VERY exclusive school. I'm stoked and still in shock.

I understand and agree with you when you said that most of my shots have a "point and shoot" feel to them but I try as much as I can to get as many different angles as I can which is difficult since I don't have a press pass and so I'm in the crowd and unless I'm at the barricades I can't see since I'm so fucking short haha. Those times are the times I know for sure that they are point and shoot since I stand there with my arms above my head trying to get anything.
I use a dinky little camera so there aren't many features but I do try and play around with them as much as I can. Also, I pretty much NEVER EVER use flash since it usually screws up my photo and I've learned how to work with the lighting to my advantage. I only use it once in a while just to see what might come out but to be honest, I burned that sucker out a long time ago so it has a huge delay before and after which usually pisses me off like no other since it causes me to lose shots, I almost threw my camera on stage once cause I got pissed at it lol.
Thank you again

I was browsing around your gallery and your photography really has some great potential.
You've seen some awesome bands and your photos often have great composition and a level of intimacy that many band pics sorely miss.
I would suggest playing around with your settings more, since a lot of your shots "feel" like they're "point and shoot" efforts. Tweak your apeture and shutter speed so that you can get clearer pictures without that annoying blur
And a suggestion that many photographers will agree with me on: don't use Flash! It is the devil! Especially for good concert photos.
Otherwise, keep up the good work
